The setup was the usual, ASI 224MC, TSO ADC, N250/1200, HEQ5, and the seeing had its good moments, but there were some clouds or fog.

There’s been some nasty nebulosity these days, either thin clouds or outright fog, impossible to tell from within the city. Though the seeing had its good moments, transparency was awful. I’ve been wondering these days about not owning a TV. Well, the transit of Io observed here sure lacks the action of a spacefight but sure has something kubricky about it. The boring side: the best seeing I’ve seen for a very long time. And it was the boring side. ASI 224MC, TSO ADC, N250/1200, HEQ5
Jupiter and Io. I just realized why I don’t have a TV: I can see live interplanetary feeds from my balcony. And while there is less action and it’s considerably slower, Galileo Galilei did stuff like this – just a tad more low tech. ASI 224MC, TSO ADC, N250/1200, HEQ5 guided by the soapbox project.
